The Shock101 is a high speed, battery powered, stand alone, tri-axial shock data logger. The data logger continuously samples at 512Hz and at the user-specified reading interval, writes the peak acceleration (g force) to memory.

The device is also valuable in characterizing environments such as production and assembly lines of delicate equipment, IC fabrication, communications and computer components. This is an all-in-one compact, portable, easy to use device that will measure and record data for up to 349,525 measurements per axis. The storage medium is non-volatile solid state memory, providing maximum data security even if the battery becomes discharged.
Data may be displayed for the three axes, as well as a calculated vector sum to provide overall acceleration/shock of the equipment or shipment being monitored. MadgeTech software also provides a summary of statistics for average, minimum and maximum shock values.
