Hot wire probe (digital) – including temperature and humidity sensor, wired

Use the hot wire probe with the compatible testo multifunction measuring instrument (please order separately) to determine air velocity, volume flow, air temperature and humidity.

Hot wire probe including temperature and humidity sensor:
– Use the fixed cable on the handle to connect the hot wire probe to the measuring instrument (please order separately). The hot wire probe is equipped with a telescope, which can be extended to a maximum length of 1.0 m. The immersion depth is easy to read, even if visibility is poor, thanks to the high-contrast scaling.- The clearly structured measurement menu for volume flow enables the measuring instrument to be operated intuitively. The volume flow is precisely calculated thanks to convenient input of the size and geometry of the duct cross-section. Timed and multi-point mean calculation, average volume flow, current reading and min./max. values are displayed in the measuring instrument.- Particularly useful: press the button on the hot wire probe to operate the measuring instrument. For example, to store individual readings for multi-point mean calculation or to start and stop measurement series for mean calculation over time.- Integrated sensor protection: when you are not using the hot wire probe, the rotatable protective cap protects the air velocity sensor from mechanical stress.Applications: – Ventilation ducts – Use the hot wire probe to measure air velocity and air temperature in ventilation ducts with reliability. Benefit from fast calculation of the volume flow: in the ‘volume flow’ measurement menu of the compatible measuring instrument (please order separately), configure the dimensions and geometry of the duct cross-section – the measuring instrument shows you the volume flow straight away.- Plate outlets and ventilation grilles – For convenient, accurate measurements at plate outlets and ventilation grilles. This guarantees easy testing of the exhaust air, especially when used with other testo accessories (sold separately).
